Andrew P. Hoffman, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with more than 35 years of surgical experience. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his surgical training in Pennsylvania and Texas. Dr. Hoffman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has extensive experience in general and minimally invasive surgery, trauma and acute care surgery, endoscopy and wound care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hoffman has practiced at hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country and served as a surgeon in the U.S. Navy. He has also served as a clinical associate professor of surgery and has a strong interest in educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals.

Dr. Hoffman provides a wide range of general surgery services at MRH&C, including colonoscopies and endoscopy, gallbladder and hernia procedures, appendectomies, evaluation of lumps and masses, cancer screening and other general surgical care. He values a personal approach to medicine and helping patients receive quality surgical care close to home.

Dr. Hoffman and his wife have a home in Mobridge and enjoy spending time with their dog, Lincoln.
