Purchasing Director

Mobridge Regional Hospital is looking for a very organized and energetic individual to work at the Purchasing Director.
This position is responsible for locating supplies from a variety of vendors, negotiating contracts, purchasing and distributing inventory and supplies for the hospital and clinics.
The position requires individuals to be very active, as much of the job is moving inventory, pushing and pulling carts, reaching above eye level to stock and obtain supplies, as well as bending and stooping for the same reasons. Some lifting and freedom of movement is required in the storage and delivery of inventory. The majority of the work is indoors, but it is necessary to be outside in all elements when moving inventory from the onsite storage building into the main hospital/clinic building.
Attention to detail is very important as the Purchasing Director expedites and executes all purchases, assuring that quality and quantity are correct. The Purchasing Director maintains inventory accurately including outdates on medical supplies.
Will work within a variety of computer systems, so anyone applying for this position should have excellent computer knowledge, skills and abilities. Any healthcare or purchasing experience would be a plus.
