Employment Type: Part-Time (approximately 24 hours per week).
Position Summary:
Mobridge Regional Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to support the HR Director with day-to-day operations. This role primarily focuses on maintaining the timekeeping system, supporting the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and assisting with payroll and benefits administration.
Position Description:
- Work directly with the Human Resources Director to support HR and payroll functions
- Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Process employee timecards and assist with payroll preparation
- Coordinate and administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, timekeeping, and benefits
- Help ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws
- Assist with generating reports and tracking HR metrics as needed
- Provide administrative support for other HR projects and initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in human resources, payroll, or related administrative work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Position Qualifications:
- Experience using a HRIS and timekeeping systems (e.g., Paycom, UKG, Kronos, ADP, etc.)
- Familiarity with payroll processing and employee benefits administration
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices
