Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics has an opening for a full time Solo CRNA to work a modified part time schedule. Applicants interested in this position should have a minimum of five years of experience as a CRNA with no less than 18 months in a solo environment. This is a W-2 position.
Must maintain biannual re-certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and be Board Certified by the SD Board of Nursing - RN Licensure. Must have current CPR, NRP, and ACLS. Applicants must possess knowledge and conform to South Dakota Codified Laws (SDCL 36-9-1 through 36-9-97 (Accessible via SD Board of Nursing Website.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Anesthetist program approved by the American Associate of Nurse Anesthetists and be licensed and registered in the state of South Dakota. Or have to the ability to become so prior to hire date as a CRNA.
The successful applicant for our CRNA position will perform anesthesia management and support patient care in surgical (inpatient and outpatient, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures including orthopedics, ophthalmology, podiatry, obstetrics, ER trauma and cardio-pulmonary arrest patients in the facility.
The position is very part time covering a week each month with additional schedule changes as the group of CRNAs determines it to be necessary or as mutually agreed upon with the partner CRNAs. The CRNA is responsible for 24 hour call during scheduled weeks.
The wage is very competitive as a full time wage for part time work, and includes an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, Flex plan, and life insurance and 401K after one year with a 4% match being full vested immediately. The hospital also pays for malpractice insurance.
The position also includes CME pay.
