Foundation Awards Scholarships
MAY 31, 2011The Mobridge Regional Healthcare Foundation was extrememly pleased to announce Renita Goetz, a Freshman at The University of South Dakota, as its $1,000 recipient of the 2011 Medical Career Scholarship. The Mobridge Regional Healthcare Foundation Medical Career Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship available to Traditional and Non-Traditional students from the four county area (Campbell, Corson, Dewey and Walworth). Applicants must be pursuing a healthcare career in a profession involving direct patient care. Renita is pursuing a degree in Pre Med at The University of South Dakota.
The Foundation also awarded Rae O'Leary from Timber Lake, SD and Monica Bailey from Mobridge, SD the same scholarship at $500. Rae is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and starting at Presentation College - Lakota Campus in Eagle Butte in August of 2010 to puruse her Associate Degree in Nursing. Monica is a graduating Senior at Mobridge-Pollock High School and pursuing a degree in Pre Med at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
