Qualifications
Education: Accredited Medical School and Residency Training
Licensure: Eligible to obtain or currently licensed in the state of South Dakota
Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specialty
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Required
Advanced Trauma Life Support - Required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Highly recommended but not required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Highly recommended but not required
Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics - Highly recommended but not required
Schedule: Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
ER Call: Currently physicians do primarily ER backup call for midlevels who are taking primary call. On occasion physicians are expected to take
first call in the ER.
Inpatient Rounds: Inpatient rounds are a vital part of the care of our patients and is a part of this position. Typically, rounds are done prior to clinic hours starting.
